The Carbine Longreach 60mm standard backset latching mortice lock is built for high-performance security in commercial and residential applications. Featuring a selectable 15mm or extended 19.5mm latchbolt projection, a refined 45-degree lever operation, and fire-rated durability, Longreach combines smooth functionality with exceptional strength. Fully retrofit-compatible and tested to over 1 million latching cycles, it's the future of mortice locking.

Selectable extended latch bolt projection.
Latch bolt can be set at the standard length of 15mm.
Latch bolt can be set at an extended length of 19.5mm.
Deadlatching is operational at both standard and extended latch bolt positions
Improved deadlatching mechanism allows deadlatching to be operational with door gaps up to 9.5mm.
New 2 in 1 Carbine XZ cam (CSM72-CAMXZ) can lock and unlock the handle/s and also retract the latch (compatible with this lock only).
Fire rated for 4 hours
Improved latching mechanism to prevent door jamming on closing.
Hardened steel lock bar protection cover to prevent manipulation.
Configurable locking of either or both handles with an existing X cam.
45 degree lever operation of unlatching latch bolt from striker plate.
Through fixing oval cylinder escutcheon with Carbine Crisi round furniture.
Selectable Anti-lockout mode (use allen key provided not impact driver)
The lock is functional with oval cylinders fitted with the standard W, X and Z cams.
Retrofittable into doors fitted with existing equivalent latching mortice locks.
Hold back mode can be configured with our Carbine hold back cam (handed) fitted on oval cylinder.
Latch bolt and deadlatching snib handing for Installation on left- and right-hand opening doors.
Compatible with most electric strikes.

Installation suitable for door thickness from 32mm to 50mm. Extended length hardware available separately for 50-100mm thick doors.
Optimal (and minimum) door clearance between door and door frame is 3mm with a maximum of 5mm.
Installation on inward and outward opening doors.
Stainless steel casing, face plate, latch bolt and deadlatching snib
Cycle tested to 1,000,000 cycles, far exceeding the highest level of D8 of Australian Standard AS4145:2008*.
Corrosion tested to 240 hours (equivalent to level C7 of Australian Standard AS4145:2008)*.
